I was born and raised in communist Russia and came to the United States at 21 escaping violence. In less than a decade, I made my way from a waitress who barely spoke English to a PhD-level scientist. While I found myself “successful” by society’s standards, I felt as if I was living someone else’s life. That is when I started asking questions – about everything – womanhood, God, my body, meaning, love, health, profession, politics, economy, immigration, sexuality, community – you name it.
I spent thousands of hours meditating, doing yoga, traveling the world, talking to people, reading and studying. I had to learn how to carve my own path based on my joy, my own inner wisdom, and my guidance. Now, I help others to walk their own path. Outside of work, I dance, write, paint, sing, observe, love.
My credentials
I have dedicated more than 10 years to spiritual, metaphysical, energetic, and holistic studies, understanding the connection between mind, body, and spirit. In the process, I’ve visited different parts of the world while studying and practicing alternative therapies, shamanic practices, and the wisdom of the ages in Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, Russia, India, and the US. I hold a degree in metaphysics, spiritual coaching, mediumship, alternative and intuitive healing arts from Delphi University—a world-renowned center of spiritual studies. I’ve dedicated many years to traditional meditation practices (Vipassana, Insight) and have a 500-HR yoga instructor training. I am scientist, with a Ph.D. in quantitative psychology, post-doctorate training in quantitative and health psychology, and over a decade of research in statistics, mindfulness, behavior change, and stress reduction.
