11 Ideas on How to Have Fun with Your Money.Oct 19, 2021
Happy Tuesday, dear human!
I want to remind you that one of the main reasons you’re making money is to have fun and enjoy life. I’m sure you know some about useful purchases and practical spending.
But today I want to talk about money as the source of joy. This means - buying products that make you feel incredible, investing in experiences that enrich your life, spending on things that make your life or business easier, supporting causes that make your heart sing.
So that you can feel good about yourself, have free time, love your body, enjoy the home in which you live, find meaning, and make the most out of this precious time on Earth.
Here’re 11 ideas for you to spend your money on:
- Hire help
Whether it’s help around your house or help for your business, it’s one of the best investments you can make for your sanity and happiness.
If you can’t do this yourself, then pay someone to help you get rid of stuff. Too much stuff makes you unhappy and drains your energy.
- Pay for nature
Rent a beautiful house in the woods for a few days – where you can unplug, declutter your brain, and notice the kindness, compassion, and beauty of nature.
- Get bodywork
Touch, healing, massage, oils, scents – all of that is sooo good for your mind, body, and spirit. It releases stress and leaves you to feel 25 years younger.
- Schedule healing
Whatever modality is your choice (meditation, spiritual channeling, energy healing, release of subconscious belief, yoga) – it’s one of the best investments for your emotional and psychological well-being
- Invest in beauty
Whether it’s the art or flowers or a new piece of clothes, get something for yourself that makes you feel like a million bucks – not because of the social status it brings, but because of how it makes you feel.
- Create quiet
Being in silence is priceless for your brain. Turn off all phone notifications, social media, and calls. If you need, pay someone to answer your message while you take a few hours to yourself.
- Spend time with loved ones
Yes, this is one of the reasons you pay yourself well – so that you don’t have to work 40 or 60 hours a week. The reason for getting paid well is so that you have time for love in your life.
- Remember gratitude
Wealth isn’t fully enjoyed unless you notice it. You don’t need to be making millions of dollars, even thousands to be grateful for what you have. In fact, gratitude is unrelated to the amount of money you earn. It’s a practice.
Believe it or not, when you spend 5-minutes breathing (and not thinking inside of your head about your business, work, or life problems), your creativity boosts. When you’re rested, you can access the creative, intuitive, and genius part of yourself.
- Support others
Money is a language of love. What do you love? Community? Nature? Art? Sports? Education? Invest your money in things that matter to you.
Enjoy your dollars, euros, rubles, and whatever other currency you have. And have a blessed day.
