A Delicious Reminder of Joy 😂

 Happy Tuesday, friend!

Oh, wow, I want to share with you something special today, and fun! Some excerpts from Chapter 4 of my book, "From Russia to Joy: A Journey of Spiritual Awakening." This was a dialogue with my spiritual teacher that took place about 7 years ago:

"My dear, you are not here, in this life, to work hard and sacrifice yourself. You are not here to save the world. The world doesn't need to be saved. It needs your joy. Live your joy, and that will be your purpose."

"Laugh, my dear, you have a golden voice. Your laughter is like a spread of the stars on a dark night. Laugh, play, and have fun. Be a butterfly that jumps from flower to flower. You need to discover what joy feels like. That IS your purpose. "

"Familiar (aka, hard work) doesn't mean "the right path." Familiar simply means a repetition of what you already know (hard work)... For you, JOY IS UNCOMFORTABLE."

"You are to dress up, be silly, feminine, gentle, playful, flirtatious, and fun."

"Be beautiful. Celebrate your beauty. And think of life as a beautiful and magical canvas. You are the painter.

Stop sacrificing yourself. It is not your job to sacrifice. Your job is to E-N-J-O-Y."

"Start with playing, dancing, painting, taking walks in nature, going on adventures, daydreaming, dressing beautifully, and making love ..."

"Any time you feel that, your heart is jumping from joy, you are on the right path. You don't need to KNOW that you are on the right path. You just feel it. "

That's it, my friend!
I think, 7 years later, I am finally beginning to get it - what my teacher was talking about.

How delightful,

P.S. I hope you enjoy my drawing (above): A Lady in a Bathtub :)

P.P.S. I put together this playlist "Self-Love playlist" - let it be a musical reminder that you are loved and adored. You are amazing!

P.P.P.S. Some ideas for your joy: sex, play, painting, singing, sunshine, beautiful colors, shower bubbles, flowers, and more ...
