Being Overworked Isn't a Badge of Honor 😊

Several people have been coming into my world lately, saying, "I am tired." 

They might not have used these words, but instead said: 
I have a creative block
- I feel I am always managing other people's needs and priorities
- I have trouble connecting to myself and finding my Center
- My work doesn't bring joy to me anymore

- There is friction in my relationships

I get it. I so get it. 

And ... 

My reminder to you today is: WHEN YOUR LIFE GETS VERY BUSY, TAKE A BREAK & CONNECT TO YOURSELF (aka, YOUR HIGHER SELF). 

I am not speaking from the perspective of running away from responsibilities. Devotion to your craft and purpose requires your self-nourishment. 

The way I see purpose and expression of purpose - it's a fine art.

- You swing too much into DOING, & you start operating from the ego - achieving, pursuing goals, getting lost in the external metrics of success, stressing out, searching for external proof. 

- The non-doing is its own beast. Yes, actions are required, and sitting on the coach all day doesn't move the needle. 

But to reset from running-running-running to a balanced and aligned living and work might mean lying on a coach for a couple of days + connecting to Source/Higher Self - to feel aligned. 

I've noticed that when we swing on the side of achieving, we tend to start running our old patterns: 

-  forgetting who we are, why we are here, and living for tomorrow, rather than the present moment. 

That's anxiety and fear running the show, not love. not purpose, not joy. 

In our society, it's easy to swing into unconscious doing - it's rewarded heavily. And promoted generously! 

Now, 

YOU ... 

Being on a conscious living journey, 

Know better! 

If you haven't laughed or smiled in a few days or weeks - time to pause!!! 

That's your red flag! 

This is the reminder!  😉
