Redefining JOY

I’ll be honest — a month before giving birth, I was not feeling peaceful or empowered. I was dreading it.
Until one meeting with my birth doula changed my entire energy - I left feeling excited and motivated. To the point that I even channeled & recorded a Connecting with the Creator session for birthing!!!!! How did I not have it with my first child?! I don't know 😂
The reason it happened was that my doula is quietly excited about her work. She doesn't jump around, yet tells the right stories, asks the right questions, & provides the right information.
I can't be a birthing doula - it's her gem!!!
For me, one of my gems is working with clients & helping them find inner guidance in confusing situations.
I enjoy the process of diving into stuck situations, difficult emotions, limiting beliefs, dense energies, because I know those are opportunities for transformation!!!
When they tell me hard things/goals/desires, I see humanness and feel inspired - because I know the solution exists. For them to have less pain & more joy!
That is JOY.
The reason for those two stories is that your JOY isn't objective. It's deeply subjective - to you and your unique set of gifts & talents.
This is why there are so many of us living on this planet. And we enjoy doing different things.
JOY isn't about
- immediate rewards
- superficial emotions
- adrenaline rush
- jumping up & down
(although all of these things do have a place).
But if we are talking about the intersection of JOY & PURPOSE, you gotta look deeper and long-term.
This deep sense of inner satisfaction that you get & someone else might not.

🔵 What brings you a deep, steady sense of inner satisfaction — not excitement, not adrenaline, but soul-level content?
🟠 Where are you confusing temporary pleasure with true joy?
🟢 What is something that you do that feels "easy-ish" for you & transformative to others?
When you follow the places where your joy expands - that's where your purpose lives. And some exploration is warranted!
