Sep 16, 2025Funny how fast we shut down our creativity just because it doesn’t look “official.”
I’ve been thinking of setting up a creative space in my basement.
Then the thought popped up: “But I’m not a designer.”
So I took a bunch of design magazines… and nothing felt like me.
Until I found one called In Her Studio — full of women creating in wild, beautiful, imperfect spaces. A van. A sunroom. A corner of the kitchen.
It reminded me:
✨ There’s no right way to create.
✨ I don’t need to hold a title to design something beautiful.
✨ I get to make it mine.
Yes, I’ll still use inspiration from the magazines. But now I’m letting my inner voice lead.
Just a little reminder in case you forgot too
✨ Make your space. Make your magic. You don’t need a title for that. ✨
